Bill Jay  History Photographer  Documentary film . For my contextual studies assignment on  Vi ctorian photographers in Llandudno I came across the name Bill Jay in his attempts to save the Francis Frith archives. Having a quiet afternoon to so some research for my dissertation came across this film on Bill Jay himself. To my disgrace after nearly 6 years of studying I had never heard of him. This film even though 90 minutes or so long it is a real insight of a man who valued the history of photography and names I have heard and studied some of their work over my last 6 years.  So if you have some time to spare I recommend you take time to watch this film.  https://youtu.be/wd47549knOU

  My thoughts on the FMP google classroom article  John Taylor A DREAM OF ENGLAND Without a tone one of sarcasm, attempting to read this article reminded me of the BBC comedy yes Prime Minister. It seemed to make no sense to the everyday reader. In essence the premise of the article was on how photography has changed our perspective on recording moments.
