Bill Jay  History Photographer  Documentary film . For my contextual studies assignment on  Vi ctorian photographers in Llandudno I came across the name Bill Jay in his attempts to save the Francis Frith archives. Having a quiet afternoon to so some research for my dissertation came across this film on Bill Jay himself. To my disgrace after nearly 6 years of studying I had never heard of him. This film even though 90 minutes or so long it is a real insight of a man who valued the history of photography and names I have heard and studied some of their work over my last 6 years.  So if you have some time to spare I recommend you take time to watch this film.  https://youtu.be/wd47549knOU

  DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY OR PICTORIAL  A  QUESTIONNAIR.  Due to needing to create a questionnaire/survey for my contextual studies BA Photography course work module at Llandrillo college, an impossible task face to face due to covid-19 I came up with the idea of sending an appeal to the LLANDUDNO IN OLD PHOTOGRAPHS for any willing participants.
